The reverse of the coin features the wonderfully detailed image of the Maya Eagle Warrior, over a background win an astonishing Maya calendar. On the bottom of the reverse, the inscription: “25 DOLLARS” – the face value. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: “SAMOA” – the issuing country and “2018” – the year of issue. The bottom of the obverse depicts the Coat of Arms of Samoa and the inscriptions: “1 kg” – the weight of the coin and “Ag999” – the fineness of the Silver.
